Celestial Peak by Eclipse-CJ3 Celestial Peak by Eclipse-CJ3
Here it is, my lastest space piece and probly my best. I worked very hard on this, harder than I'v worked on any of my other things. I got insperation from alot of sci-fi deviations here, most of them I +fav'd I wanted to make something that look's new to me and has alot of good stuff in there. I hope I get alot of comments on this, and if you want I might make this a pirnt but it wont be that big, and price might range into $24.99 to $29.99. So here's the specs,

Programs: Adobe Photoshop 7.0
Time: 7+ hours
Layers: 80 - 120 if I didnt merge the star scape and parts of the nebula.
Size: PSD: 80 mb, JPEG: 3.5 mb (sorry for it being so big <_<;)

Please comment this - Enjoy

Very nice scene here, The light source really holds the peice together . I have to agree with j4m3s, the planets are repetitive, he has whined to me about doing that and I try to avoid it. It makes them so much better to look at. But yah all the planets that get tied in to the light is really cool, but the way you blended the planet rings on the outside could use a little work. Sorry for the constructive crits, I myself invite them because it helps me to improve on my skills. So I am giving you some as assitance, so keep up the awesome work, this is truly a great peice here

nice piece there, but why the copyright watermark?

as for your piece - your rings are really good - wonderful job! that was what really attracted me in this piece
about the planet on the left - the satelites are good, but they look somewhat too near the planet, in realism it just doesn't fit (according to the Roche's Limit)

but dude, you got really good talent! i commend you!

very nice :giggle: I love that copyright thing. Just bugging you cause everyone else seems to be doing it. The planet with rings is amazing... Those rings are beautiful...

Nope no lens flare behind the planet, just a shine. And the shadow did that I tried everything to get it away but it wouldnt, so I thought it was a glare in hte monitor, lol.

More coms, and favs.

heh i've actually done that before (tried everything to get rid of something) errasing bits of layers etc ...absoloutly everything i could think of...nearly gave up then decided to turn off the light in my room...it was a glare from the light :[

awesome work but the light doesn't quite seen right in some parts, although i really like the nebula type thing

hmm is there a lens flare hidden behind the big planet on the right? just near the bottom-middle left of the planet i can see the outline of a lens flare just wondering if thats meant to be there

not bad, although imo, a few too many planets (especially the smaller ones closer to the light source). Also, some extended shadows created by them would enhance this image. Also, in the center of the light source, too many light diffractions (looks like excessive use of the "move" lens flare filter) A single diffraction would suffice.

Not bad at all though, keep working :)

No bad, some of the texture is a bit repetitive, wahst with the copyright symbol over the actual image? takes away the view, large planets atmosphere is a little funny.. & you use the same planet duplicated (or so it looks) again & again which is a bit dodgy to do, ive done it before, not a good idea :P small flasres look good they do, how youve blended them, not bad keep up the 'good' work ;) ;p
